How to request a correction
Email [email protected] with the subject Correction — page URL. Identify the exact statement, explain why it may be wrong or incomplete, and link direct evidence when available.
How requests are assessed
We compare the request against the article's cited evidence and seek the strongest available primary, platform, or reputable reporting source. A disagreement in interpretation is not automatically a factual error, but unclear labels or missing context may still justify an edit.
Routine updates
Release dates, supported platforms, prices, editions, service status, and other time-sensitive details may change after publication. Routine updates revise the visible information and the article's checked or modified date.
Material corrections
When an error could have changed a reader's decision or materially misrepresented a person, company, product, or source, we correct the article and add a visible note explaining what changed and when. We do not silently erase consequential errors.
Attribution and rights
Creators and rights holders may report missing attribution, incorrect ownership information, or an objection to media use through the same address. Include enough information to identify the work and establish the basis of the request without sending unnecessary private records.
Abusive or unsupported requests
We may decline requests intended to suppress accurate reporting, expose private information, distribute unsafe material, or pressure an editorial conclusion without evidence. We may not respond individually to duplicate, threatening, or spam submissions.
